Featuring SHIMA SEIKI’s original SlideNeedle on four needle beds instead of the usual two, MACH2XS is capable of performing true, high-quality, high-speed WHOLEGARMENT knitting.
The SWG-N2 series compact WHOLEGARMENT knitting machines feature our renowned SlideNeedle and are capable of producing a variety of products. With a knitting width ranging from 10 inches (25cm) to 36 inches (90cm), the versatile N2 can be used for everything from sampling to mass-production in the healthcare, sports, safety and industrial materials sectors.
Computerized Flat Knitting Machines
A compilation of SHIMA SEIKI’s vast know-how and experience accumulated over the years, SVR is the global standard for shaped knitting. Made-in-Japan quality, reliability, productivity, user-friendliness and cost-performance all combine to satisfy the high expectations of the world's industrial textiles industry.
Featuring loop pressers, SVR123SP can knit inlay patterns that combine knit and weave characteristics to produce hybrid textiles. In addition, the new i-Plating option can be combined with inlay patterns as well as sinker patterns produced with the patented moveable sinker system, opening up a whole new world of patterning for truly diverse knit design.
Peripherals
Yarn Unwinding Option
When knitting with such materials as metallic and monofilament yarns, the yarn has a tendency to kink, making it practically impossible to feed smoothly into the machine. The Yarn Unwinding Option features a motorized bobbin that provides stable yarn feed with control over feed amount and tension.
CAD/CAM Systems
SHIMA SEIKI's P-CAM series NC cutting machines all feature high productivity, efficiency and quality. Cutting width can be chosen depending upon individual needs, and multi-ply machines feature a range of ply thickness from which to choose, starting with single sheets. Materials range from fabric and leather to carbon fiber and composite materials, and cutting heads can be chosen from straight blade and circular blade to reciprocating knife and even ultrasonic cutter. Combined with our CAD system, a fully integrated production system can be obtained.
